About Where Kids Play
What if I told you the way forward is sometimes the way back? In today’s world of technology and virtual reality, I invite you to go back to the times when imagination soared and creativity knew no limits. As a mother of two wonderful little girls, I know it takes bravery to do what mothers do on a daily basis; everything from putting away laundry (ouch!) to shaping our little humans’ lives to the best of our abilities. My children are my “why”. They’ve helped me find purpose and reclaim the wonder of my own life.
As the gatekeeper of their childhood, my job is to preserve it with the help of sensory and imaginative play. At the heart of every child, there is a need for play. It plays a significant role in fostering children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional growth. Sensory play helps children explore and understand the world around them.
I started Where Kids Play because I’m a firm believer in the magic of childhood. Our journey begins with homemade non-toxic play-dough kits and sensory bin fillers that will foster connection, whether it’s parents and children bonding over a play-dough masterpiece or siblings exploring a sensory bin together.
